Bring on the May flowers, bitch!

The weather this weekend doesn’t exactly look like it’ll make for good camping:

Rain and ice?

I’m gonna wait until tomorrow to decide if I really want to go camping–if the weather is going to be wet and dreary, we can sit with the trailer in the driveway and have that much fun anytime. Of course, I’m sure that if we don’t go camping, the weather will turn out to be pretty nice, and I’ll regret not going. The only thing I’m really worried about is how cold it’s supposed to get at night. I don’t know how well (or even if) the furnace works, but it’s supposed to get barely below freezing, so if we do go camping, I’m sure we’ll find out.

  1. Haha…. that’s what you get for leaving the safety of your own home. Never catch me making such a silly mistake.

  2. Ugh, there’s nothing like being uncomfortable when you’re camping. I remember camping on Memorial Day weekend a few years back, and the entire first night, it poured and was around 45 degrees. Everything was soaked, but thankfully the tent didn’t leak. And, the rest of the time we were there, it was beautiful. Maybe it’ll only be crappy one of the days this weekend?

  3. this one time i went camping with my dad around either stockton or table rock lake. well the whole time we were there it rained. it’d stop for maybe 2 hours at a time and then it would start for another 6-7. we also went swimming when it was lightning and raining. it sucked. the tent filled with water every night and we still stayed there for 3-4 days.

  4. I’ll forego the regular camping crack, and just say that the title of this post is about as good as they get!
