My family and I checked out the new Price River Trail this afternoon. Brr, it was cold! The trail is pretty short–we walked from one end to the other, then back to the start, and our total distance was only 2.6 miles. There’s talk by the county of expanding the trail to Helper and Wellington. That would be nice, but I’ll believe it when I see it. The cross-county ATV trail has been talked about for many years, and I’m not sure any real work has gone into it yet. It was fun to get out today for a short while and freeze our butts off, but with as short as the trail is, I don’t think it’ll be worth going back as long as I can have a longer and more enjoyable walk through my neighborhood.
