I had a cool weekend in southern Utah. The motel we stayed at sucked, and we didn’t get all the shopping done that we were hoping to do, but it kicked ass. We drove from St. George to Springville (253 miles) in 3 hours 5 minutes, including the 15 miles of construction where the speed limit was 55. That’s an average speed of about 82 mph, and the speedometer in my car pegs at 85 mph. Most of the drive, I had no idea exactly how fast I was going. 🙂
On Sept. 24, Dow Jones Newswire reported that Microsoft may buy Reed Elsevier (the company I am employed by.) Maybe I can hit Uncle Bill up for a raise… 🙂
