Several months ago I searched for some rock art near the mouth of Price Canyon but was unable to find it. On Halloween I returned and located it. There were some pictographs on a boulder close to the valley floor, and some petroglyphs and pictographs up high on some cliffs. I couldn’t make the climb up to the most interesting pictographs in the cliffs for some up-close photos so I had to settle for using the zoom from below. With binoculars I could make out more faint pictographs–perhaps with a partner-assist it would be possible to scale the ledges to get a closer look. None of the rock art was super amazing, but it was good to find some near home.
