Gentry Mountain

Instead of hiking and camping this weekend, I was out of commission with a cold and ended up going for a short drive with my family to Gentry Mountain to scope out the fall colors situation. The aspen were just starting to turn colors in most places, but I don’t think there are going to be any spectacular colors this year. I’d gone to the same area precisely one year earlier and found some nice yellows, oranges, and reds in the trees. This year the greens seemed to be fading without touching on the other colors. I enjoyed the time spent with my family, though–we don’t do that often enough.
