I was planning on going for an ATV ride in the snow today, but yesterday when I was getting my ATV ready I froze my ass off, so I knew that actually riding it in this weather would be too cold. It’s supposed to get warmer later this weekend (barely above freezing), so I may attempt a ride then. I tried starting the truck a couple of days ago when it was 10 degrees outside, and it took about five minutes to get it running. This morning I plugged in the engine block heater for the first time. I wasn’t even sure that it worked since I’ve never used it in the four years I’ve owned the truck, but after being plugged in for four hours this morning the truck started right up. Why didn’t I try that sooner?
