I was just getting ready to go to Gas-N-Go to get something to drink when a package arrived from my ISP. They must have tested my line a couple days ago without me knowing, so now my DSL service is up and running–not bad, only took them 8 days. =)
It’s supposed to be 256K DSL, but I’m getting transfer rates to my FTP site of over 30K/sec. So I’m pretty happy with it, except that now I can’t connect to Yahoo Messenger, which I use for work. Oh, and AIM just quit working on me now. Fuck…now I can’t even hit Google’s site. Damnit, this sucks…time to call tech support.
