truck

The oil seal on my truck’s rear diff was letting some oil through still, so I had to torque the nut quite a bit more. Hopefully that will take care of the problem, but I’m not so sure it will…I torqued it to 120 ft-lbs, but after I put my driveline back on, I found out that it should have been 140 ft-lbs. My repair manual didn’t specify a torque reading, but my father-in-law had a manual that did, and he didn’t show me until after I had returned his torque wrench. Oh well, I can always tighten it more later if I need to.
