The derby was great. One of the guys in it got a little out of hand, seemingly trying to kill people rather than disable their vehicles, but two brothers ganged up on him in the last round and took him out for good. I came home smelling very strongly of exhaust and probably many other automotive fluids. During the last round, the entire arena was so filled with tire smoke and steam from radiators that I could barely see the other side.
I’d like to enter a car in a demolition derby some year, but it’ll probably be quite a while before I can afford to do it, and I’d need at least one other person to give me a hand with everything. Just building the car would be fun, but driving would be badass. I hear Solo has a car that would be good in a derby. =)
