Good News: My truck will be finished tomorrow. The engine is already installed and all the hoses and electrical connections are done. The carburetor is being rebuilt right now (for free!), and when that’s done, it’ll be filled up with fluid and cranked up for the first time in 2? months.
Bad News: The front brake pads on my car are hosed. I went to install new pads, and found out the shims are rusted through. Checker didn’t have them in stock, so I have to wait ’til Friday to get them and finish installing them. Good thing my truck will be ready tomorrow. 🙂
