I own several rifles and a shotgun, and I don’t think taking mine away will keep someone else from getting their hands on one. Frus may have been going off “half-cocked,” but I still strongly disagree. Just because something’s illegal doesn’t mean it’s unattainable. Murder is already illegal, and someone willing to commit it won’t hesitate to break a gun law.
