The Wheel of Time website has undergone some major changes. In addition to a new look, some screenshots were added to the several that were already there. The game is still slated for release in the second quarter of 1999 (probably June 30, 1999.) 🙂 Hopefully, they won’t release a buggy game, then send out endless patches to fix it (like Unreal).
For those of you who aren’t familiar with WoT, it’s a game based on the book series Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan, and will be using the Unreal engine. For people who haven’t read the book series, this game probably won’t be a big deal. But for those familiar with the series, this game’s gonna kick ass! I’ve read the book series about 3 1/2 times, and don’t think I’ll ever tire of it. It’s still incomplete, but even as it stands now, it’s well worth reading. To have an action game based on the books just makes it that much more exciting.
