On Sunday I went rappelling with Chris again in Spring Canyon. This time, however, Traci participated too! I’d been trying to talk her into it, and she wouldn’t ever commit to rappelling. We found a nice cliff to rap off of, with an easy start, and Chris went first. Once he was down, I expected to have to do a lot of persuading to get Traci to give it a try. To my surprise, she got on the rope and backed off the cliff without much hesitation. I was pleased that she just went for it, and she was happy to have gone through with it as well. I asked her if she’d do it again, and she said, “Maybe.”
