Tonight’s sunset was amazing. I looked out the front door after dinner and noticed an eerie yellow glow on everything. I walked into the back yard to see some beautiful mammatus clouds and a few sun’s rays poking up from the horizon. I noticed a couple of neighbors outside staring west as well. Suddenly it dawned on me that I should be somewhere taking photos of this! I grabbed my camera and hopped in the truck and drove to where I could get an unobstructed view of the horizon. Here are a few of the photos. Also included are a couple of shots from this morning when a power line fell across my street.
