Despite everybody except me and Jaysen backing out of our trip to Nutty Putty, it was pretty fun. We only went through one section of the cave ’cause we didn’t really have time to do the other half. I wasn’t too sore yesterday, but today my back and side muscles ache like hell. I think we’re going to go again in a month or two, and this time we’ll have to drag people out there. =)
I was quite surprised at how far I drove my car up the hill (here are some pictures). I expected to have to park at the bottom and hike five or six hundred yards to the top, but I put my Subaru in low range and decided to see how far I could go. I made it about 2/3 of the way up the hill, which is as far as I dared to take my Toyota and my mom’s 4Runner the past few times I’ve gone. Hopefully next time I’ll have my Ford running and I can drive all the way up.
