I heard through the grapevine (well, actually, from Ty) that DSL might be here as early as next month. And according to an email I received from my ISP about a month ago, the price should be around $35/month, which would be cheaper than the $20 I pay for a second phone line and the $20 for dialup service. And I’m only 3½ blocks from the phone company’s office, so I shouldn’t have any problems getting a line. I just hope they’re not being overly-optimistic…in fact, I would be stupid to believe it until I see it.
