So far, I’m fairly happy with my ISP, Airswitch, but I just wanted to let the world (all 2 of you) know more about them. They offer a 10 mbps dedicated connection for $20/month. Their connection is pretty reliable, with some slow times or down time. It’s tough to get decent answers from their tech support (unless you talk to Shen [is that how it’s spelled?]). I have a hidden IP, but at least it’s static when my firewall (or gateway or whatever) is seen from the outside. My IP doesn’t resolve to a hostname, which really sucks. HitBOX logs my own hits to my site, but doesn’t show my IP on the Last 100 list. And they still don’t have webspace set up for customers. I’m really looking forward to not having to leech off of Ty and his desktop machine, but I don’t see that happening in the near future.
