I just saw a damn Circuit City commercial for DIVX. I can’t believe they’re still trying to push DIVX. (Check out bandivx.com if you don’t know what I’m talking about.)
I plan on getting a DVD player in the next year, and couldn’t imagine why anyone would want anything else. The only reason it bugs me is that they’re trying to pass DIVX off as being better than DVD.
Just reading DIVX’s own site makes me never want to get a player for it. Who wants to go through all that hassle when you can just rent or buy a DVD disc for less money, and pay less for the DVD player too? Anyway, check it out and decide for yourself…
