I’m heading up Nine Mile Canyon again tomorrow, and I’m a little nervous about going up there alone for some reason–probably just because I’ll be so far away from civilization. I’m probably going to do a lot of hiking, and tons of driving. The road is 50 miles long, all dirt, and I have about 35 or 40 stops to make along the way. It’s going to be a long day. It’s still elk season, so hopefully if I run into any car trouble or something like that, I’ll be able to get some help.
I’ve got datasheets for 15 benchmarks printed out, though I doubt I’ll find even half of them. I’ve also got mile-by-mile directions to all the petroglyphs and old indian dwellings. I expect to take so many pictures that I’m sure my camera battery will die while I’m out there.
