Michael stood up by himself (for almost 15 seconds!) for the first time yesterday. After getting over the initial shock of what he was doing, I think he finally got scared and almost started crying and tried to sit down. I got him to stand up a couple more times after that, but he’s reluctant to let go of my hands at all when he’s standing, so I quit trying to push him too hard. Still, I don’t think it’ll be too long before he’s walking, and he’s not even nine months old yet.
