Ty pointed out a nice mobo/cpu/ram combo that was mentioned on Ars: Abit KT7 board, Athlon 1ghz cpu, and 256 megs of ram, all for about $430. I'm still not sure about the board...I've read some bad reviews about it. I'm running an Asus P2L97 now, and I haven't had a single problem with it. But then again, I'm sure there are a lot of people running the Abit who haven't had any problems. I'm also not sure about running an AMD, but the price factor is a huge one. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with it all and see how it works out, though.
